Had a lovely visit with my childhood friend Heshy Goldberg. We first met in 1960 (you can do the math) when my family moved to Plainview, New York and became members of the Plainview Jewish Center where Heshy’s father was the congregation Rabbi. Along with his brother Mordechai we sat together at services every Saturday and walked home with our father’s after service and most weeks played together in the afternoon. We attended the same Jewish Day school and Heshy and his family were a big part of my childhood.

We told stories (compared memories and sometimes filled in gaps for each other) and caught up a bit on our lives over the past fifty years since High School..
