I’ve always assumed that at least 80 percent of the voters were locked into their choices. Maybe even 88 percent with a pretty even split. That leaves a small group of potential voters trying to choose between Trump and Biden and not really happy with either.
Biden is old and not getting any younger. He will presumably be having more and more “bad” days in which we will have to trust the judgement of his advisors.
Trump is sociopathic and vindictive. He can be counted on to implement the worst of his policy threats without any threat of checks and balance. He will likely replace the aging Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito with two younger justices of the same ilk and the corrupt MAGA control of the Supreme Court will last another 20 – 40 years.
Everything is as bad as it appears.
As long as the focus of the voters’ attention is on Biden’s age he will likely lose. If we can change that to a focus on Trump’s sociopathy we may win.
